A special thanks to Audrey & her dad who picked up my thesis at the shop in Dublin and saved the day! It was nearly impossible to print and bind my thesis here and submit it on time, so I owe them my degree! Ola sent this fabulous picture of the final product! Feeling delighted!

Big Week
11 years at Pooh Corner today. And I’m not even working 😉
Going back to work on Thursday.
Binding and submitting my thesis this week.
Had an interview for a possible adventure.
My nephew’s first birthday.
2 months of being at home…
2 months, can’t believe it. In some ways it feels as though I’ve never left, but on most days it feels more like I haven’t arrived yet 😉
I printed my whole thesis to see it on paper and couldn’t believe how long it takes to print so many pages. Wow. I am awaiting feedback from my teacher and a friend before attempting to edit again. I hope to have everything completed by August 1st when I return to work. Work?
Evan and I went on a trip to Victoria to visit my friend Mia and to see whether we would like to live there one day. It was a great trip with lots of sunshine and if a job called us there we could certainly live there. And it’s much closer to Vancouver than New Zealand or Europe.
Kerstin and Lennert are in town for a visit. Yesterday was a beach day and tomorrow we are going to the sunshine coast for a few days.

Progress Report
Obviously I didn’t have a complete draft of the thesis by the end of May. I still have 10 days to try to have that draft for the end of June. And then another 30 days until the end of July… Just kidding. Aiming for the end of June.

The Discussion
I’m trying to get back on my thesis, which is difficult if you do it for a few random hours every week. These days I’m working on the discussion chapter. Doubting myself about all the silly things I wrote, but then I remind myself that it doesn’t have to be good, it just has to be done. Looking forward to the day I have just the conclusion left to write.
Finally enjoying some sun in Prince Rupert
Butze Rapids
Lenni
I had a beautiful flight up to Prince Rupert and could see the beautiful mountains and coastline the whole way up. Once again I realized that I am really in Canada 🙂
The airport is tiny, just one luggage carousel, that’s not actually a carousel but just a ramp. You can see the guys unloading your luggage outside. The airport is located on an island, so you take an old bus to the ferry, across the water, and then your sister waits downtown.
There was a huge fire on the day I arrived… Quite ironic because it meant that there were traffic jams on streets that are usually deserted.
We went to a lovely coffee shop in Cow Bay, it’s called Cowpuccinos.
Lenni loves the guitar and my keyboard. We play lots.
We’ve already gone to the pool twice. Last time Lenni carried his bathing suit from the car to the pool and knew exactly what we were up to. He smiled from ear to ear.
