The Bitterblog is back. Phew!

We just came back from a family trip to the folk’s place in the mountains. One of the most magical places in the world. I’ll find a photo for you when I’m more awake tomorrow.

Great Nanna and Warren are in town for a visit.

My piano teacher who is in her seventies gave me some clothes to wear for Malta.

Tomorrow will be my last day at work FOR A WHOLE YEAR.

Evan and I got carded at the winery.

My mom picked me up form work today (the kids always get a kick out of that!).

My sister and John chose a name for my nephew. Lennert. I will get to meet him next week. Finally!

My newest nephew

My sister gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby boy.

He is 51 cm and 3715 gr OR 20.08  inches and 8.2 pounds.

How I wish I could be there… Kerstin is in Germany at the moment and will move back to Canada in a couple of months.

Welcome to the world!

Bowen Island

Michelle, her daughter Olive, and I went on a trip to Bowen Island. It was Olive’s first ferry ride and she did amazing even though she totally exhausted herself…  On Bowen we were greeted by Erin and her family.

Michelle, Erin, and I used to work together at Pooh Corner and it was nice to spend some time together. I feel so fortunate to have such amazing coworkers. I’ve met some amazing people over the past decade (!!!!!) at Pooh Corner. Unbelievable.

This summer I will be working in both the preschool and toddler program. Most of the toddlers from last summer are preschoolers now, which means I know most of the preschoolers. I am feeling a little lost, because I’ve been gone for a year. But mosty I must say that everything is so familiar. I know where everything is and can find pillows in the dark nap room, I know the routine, and I know that it’s nice to open the gates for the cook when she collects all the dirty dishes. I just love Pooh Corner.

I wonder what I can do in the next decade? Any ideas are welcome.

UFC

I have Jared, Valentino, and Evan watching UFC in my living room. It’s hilarious. Ainsley keeps dropping in with her newest treat, the most delicious almonds you’ll ever taste. It’s nice to be back at home.

Bitterberg (2012)

I’ve spent the morning reading Canadian Children Vol. 37 No. 1. There is a nice bunch of articles in this issue…

The article by Bitterberg (2012) is conveniently located in the middle of the journal, which means you just have to see it!

So, the other day I received an e-mail from Matt who flipped open the journal and found, you’ve guessed it, the article. YES!
