Høgskolen i Oslo og Akershus (HiOA)

It’s Thursday and my first week of school is almost over. It’s been great getting to know everyone. We are a truly diverse group with students from the Maldives, Belize, Indonesia, Ecuador, Malaysia, Philippines, Mexico, Tanzania, Croatia, Germany (or Canada, that’s me!), Germany (Mexico), Ghana (UK), Bulgaria, Estonia, Poland, Ireland, and Serbia.

Just waiting for classes to start…

We’ve spent the morning comparing Early Childhood Education in our countries and prepared for group presentations tomorrow. (Tomorrow! They’ve got a full agenda for us here.) After being overwhelmed by all the different systems at first, we’ve managed to find similarities and differences. I’ve brought some photos of Pooh Corner and am excited to share a little bit of home with my new classmates.

  1. What an amazing group of very talented ladies! Truly an experience of a lifetime!

  2. That must have been a very interesting conversation, comparing different child care systems! I’m jealous!
